LUXURY BOAT BUILDER FABRICTION AREA
Troon, Ayrshire – Trane Close Control units & Chiller
SCOPE OF WORKS:
Strip out old York chiller, close control units, extract fans, ductwork & controls.
Supply and install 1 new Trane chiller to provide chilled water to 2 new Trane duty/standby close control units and 2 Flaktwoods extract/return fans to provide temperature control for the fabrication area.
The works included all ductwork supply & return to connect to the existing ductwork within the plant room as well as the flow & return CHW pipework complete with trace heating, buffer vessel, motorised valves and pressurisation unit.
All CHW pipework, MCW pipework & supply & return ductwork were insulated and labelled by one of our sub-contractors.
As part of this project Campbell’s also installed 1 supply & 1 explosive rated extract fan ducted to ceiling mounted diffusers to the glue curing room.
Under our close supervision our preferred BMS contractor provided a full HVAC control panel with a Trend BMS controller to connect to the new Trane CCU’s, Chiller, pressurisation unit, return fan inverters as well as the glue curing room heaters & fans all connected back to the clients front end with graphics to allow them to monitor & adjust in their armchair rather than having to attend site.
The new Trane close control HVAC system was successfully commissioned and O&M manuals as well as As fitted drawings were provided.
The fabrication area is now operational with the new Trane close control system providing the temperature control the client requires.
